So let’s start with me.

Nikki, 44, working mother of two ( wow you know how you think you are really interesting and then you write that down and you think yawn yawn – another mother on the internet with too much time… and then you insult all the mummy bloggers in the world in your first 100 words so you end this section)

(Uncomfortable silence.)

Moving on. What’s this Blog about?

What gives you joy? What gives me joy is when I find something and I think I LOVE THAT and I want to show everyone and say “I found this today, do you love it?”. My co-workers will tell you how many times a week I say” I’ve got to show you something” and bore enthrall them with my findings.

Found It Love It has become my catch call and so the Blog was born (and it saves Kara in the office from having to listen to me every day)

Is this a mummy blog? Now that I have alienated all the mummy bloggers in the world, I doubt it. While I love being a mum, it’s not all I am and not my reason for blogging. So I can promise there won’t be prams and nappies and 10 ways to get your kids to eat vegies. There are plenty of blogs about that by people who research these things and know a lot more than I ever will as a mum. I follow lots of those blogs and enjoy them but anyone who has seen my parenting knows I have nothing to add to that genre!

Mostly it will be unique, fun and affordable. Those “why didn’t I think of that” products and services. So there might be great jeans under $50, espresso martinis in a jar and businesses that send you useful stuff every month like razors and tampons and a bar of chocolate (yes. I know.). Products and services that make you think THATS GREAT! and I LOVE THAT! Maybe it’s just something that gives you a laugh and you want to share with your tribe.

If I can help a new business, great. If I can support another mum starting out, great.

If I can promote someone or something in my local Geelong and coastal region, fantastic.

So come in, pull up a chair, pour yourself a bubbles and enjoy your stay.

Hope you find something that makes you smile.
